SACRED FUTURES

This short documentary, which premiered in February 2021, looks at Nesfas, an organization of Indian indigenous peoples that approach the future in a way that can inspire all those concerned by climate change and pollution. They bring the ancient tradition of treating nature as sacred into modern relevance, and so make progress in their own lives. Because of Covid, the film was produced remotely in cooperation with The Hillspeople, an indigenous people’s video collective, in Shillong, Meghalaya, Northeast India. Roger King served as Producer and Writer.
